Grenadines 2018

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Bequia

Yesterday's rainbow is still there and takes a little dip out of its bed. As for us, we will start first with a breakfast on the deck of Magix.

...but a little shower can always happen... but will never disturb the unshakeable phlegm of Jules. Skipper on duty in all situations!

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

We cross the border of a new country: Saint Vincent and the Grenadines! We have lunch in front of its main island.

When we arrive on a new island, it is not uncommon to be accosted by locals who come to inquire about our intentions.

Bequia

Arrival on the island of Bequia where we are "paparazzied" by an acrobat photographer navigating hands-free with complete ease on his zodiac...   He will come back to sell us his photos...

We will spend the night in the port of Port Elizabeth and the area seems popular... We will have to find a little place among the fellow boaters.

To be able to drop anchor in the territorial waters of Saint Vincent, you have to pay a tourist tax. The captain (Thierry) must also present some documents: the crew list, a clearance certificate issued by the last port of entry, passports and boat papers... Just that.   We leave Véronique to dry her hair on Magix   and join the beach with the tender.

We then join the customs office while enjoying the bay with colors as beautiful as they are transparent.

That's it, Thierry comes out of the pretty office, the formalities are completed! We will still have to come back in 3 days to declare our departure from Saint Vincent...
